Is Øney elektrisch verwarmd, of een gewone thermolaag?
Øney is écht elektrisch verwarmd: een dun warmte-element op batterijvoeding (powerbank) dat je in vrijwel elke jas klikt, met 3 instelbare warmtestanden tot 50°C. Dat is anders dan een passieve thermolaag, die alleen isoleert.
Werkt Øney ook onder een dikke jas?
Ja. Het element is dun en flexibel en klikt met klittenband-strips aan de binnenkant vast — of de jas nu dun of dik gevoerd is. Je merkt er tijdens het dragen niets van, behalve de warmte.
Moet ik de powerbank elke dag opladen?
Dat hangt af van de gekozen warmtestand, maar reken op meerdere uren gebruik per volle lading. Opladen doe je net als je telefoon — via USB, in een paar uur weer vol.
Is één maat echt geschikt voor iedereen?

After the Øney from Gløde, which is super comfortable for outdoor riding lessons, I've now also tried their bodywarmer for indoor riding, and it's fantastic too! The elastic sides ensure a perfect fit and allow for plenty of freedom of movement. The control panels are on the outside, making it very easy to adjust the temperature on the go.
