Heated clothing for forestry and woodland work
Forestry and woodland work can combine hard physical effort with cold breaks, wet clothing and exposed conditions. Heated clothing is most useful during pauses, transport, lighter tasks and long stretches in cold weather.
Use heat at the right moment
During heavy work, too much heat can become uncomfortable. The value of a heated vest is that you can switch it down while active and increase warmth during breaks or slower tasks.
Layering with safety clothing
Wear heated clothing only where it does not interfere with required protective equipment. A slim heated vest under suitable workwear is usually more practical than a bulky extra jacket.
Powerbank and care
Charge the battery before the workday, keep it dry and check connectors regularly. For long days in remote areas, a spare powerbank is sensible.
