How Glode heated clothing works
Glode heated clothing is designed to keep you more comfortable in cold weather. The garments include built-in heating elements that are powered by a rechargeable power bank, similar to the type used to charge a phone.
Most heated jackets, vests and body warmers use a 5V power bank. Connect the power bank to the cable inside the garment pocket, then press and hold the control button for about two seconds to switch the heating on.
Heat settings
Most garments have three heat settings. The exact runtime depends on the product, the power bank and the outside temperature.
- Red: highest heat setting
- White: medium heat setting
- Blue: lowest heat setting
The higher the heat setting, the faster the power bank will drain. A lower setting is often enough when you are walking or active, while a higher setting is useful when standing still in the cold.
Can heated clothing be washed?
Yes, but always remove the power bank first and follow the care label for the specific garment. Use a gentle wash at low temperature where allowed, avoid tumble drying and let the garment air dry fully before using it again.
