Heated gloves for cycling: warm hands on the bike
Cold hands make cycling uncomfortable and less safe. Heated gloves help you keep grip and feeling during winter rides.

Why hands get cold quickly
On a bike, your hands sit directly in the wind and barely move. Ordinary winter gloves insulate, but heated gloves add active warmth so your fingers stay more flexible.
You still need to feel brakes and gears.
Windchill is the biggest cold factor.
Overly thick gloves can reduce control.
Commuting needs less reserve than long winter rides.
Combine warm hands with a warm core. Also read heated body warmer for cycling.
Gløde advice
For cycling, choose warmth, grip and control rather than simply the thickest glove.
