How heated clothing technology works

Heated clothing uses thin heating elements built into the garment. These elements are powered by a rechargeable battery or power bank and provide adjustable warmth around areas such as the chest, back, hands or feet.

The basic system

A power bank supplies energy.
Heating zones warm up inside the garment.
A control button lets you choose the heat setting.
Lower settings last longer; higher settings give stronger warmth.

After the Øney from Gløde, which is super comfortable for outdoor riding lessons, I've now also tried their bodywarmer for indoor riding, and it's fantastic too! The elastic sides ensure a perfect fit and allow for plenty of freedom of movement. The control panels are on the outside, making it very easy to adjust the temperature on the go.
